Hi, we're having an issue getting CssJsCompress to work nicely with out site. The site is about to go live, and the client is complaining about sluggishness that we feel is due to their host (Media Temple). But we have to do what we can to show that the site is well optimized, so that it gets good scores in Yslow and PageSpeed.

We've been able to get all CSS and JS consolidated and compressed with the exception of our main template.css file and a couple scripts that work with RSForms Pro (page.js & cal.js). This has boosted our score a bit, especially on simpler pages.

But there's one thing we can't get to work. We use Qivva Calendar for Eventlist to display a calendar module showing events. This has the ability to have tooltips that pop-up to show events on certain days. These pop-up tooltips break when we use CssJsCompress.

I think the issue is with a script that is loaded in the head (a default Joomla script I believe). The code is:

It would normally load directly after Mootools which I believe it uses. But when js is consolidated, mootools ends up at the bottom of the page so this Jtooltips script can't find it. Even if I don't set js to be at the bottom (preferred), it still loads after this script in the head.

Any ideas how to alter the ordering so this script would be loaded AFTER the consolidated js file?

The only other thing we would love to figure out is why we can't include the template.css file in the consolidated file without our layout breaking pretty badly. I think it is changing the URLs of our CSS background images. It looks like it is changing it to the absolute root of the server.

Could this have something to do with the fact that this development site is in a subdirectory of the domain currently until we're finished? How/why does it change the URLs?

Thanks for the help! We would love to get the boost from this plugin, but everything's got to work.
