Is there a way to get the tags to display on a category blog type page, where the entire article content is not displaying because of the use of read-more tags?

So basically right after the read more link there would be the list of article tags?

Thanks!
|

Please find the configuration item of joomla tags.

Show Tags For Blog Layout

YesNo

Make sure the above option is Yes, and save.

Good evening,

For some reason the option doesn't seem to work. I've installed the extension on two different Joomla websites and switching the "Show Tags For FrontPage" option to Yes or No makes no difference - tags are not displayed in blog view (neither in Intro nor Full Text modes). Any clues as to why this may be happening?

Thank you in advance and thanks for a great product!

Greg,

I had the same problem. Try this:

Go to:

Components "Joomla Tag" > Configuration

Then under the "Parameters for Frontend" section, select "Full Text" under the "Blog Mode" drop down.

That should work for you.
|

Hi There,

Thanks a lot for taking the time to post your suggestion. Unfortunately, setting the blog mode to full text hasn't made any difference. I've tested this on 2 different Joomla installation.

Thanks again,

Greg

PS. The question is still open - any other ideas anyone?

My apologies, I've actually got a bit confused - the "Show Tags For Blog Layout" option works perfectly.

I was actually trying for find a way to display ALL article tags in "tag view".

For example,

1) You read an article: "Article1" tagged "Joomla" and "Video"
2) You click on "Video" and are taken to a page that displays all articles tagged with "Video".

3) While the page displays all items tagged with "Video" it doesn't display any additional tags for each listed article (different to regular category/blog views where all article tags are displayed). So on the Tags/Video page I would see my "Article1" listed (as it's tagged with "Video") - however, I would not see that it's also tagged with "Joomla". "Joomla" and any other additional tags would only be visible if I actually click on the article see it in a article view.

I hope I've expressed myself clearly. Any idea if this is possible?

Regards,

Greg
|
