Hi.

My website uses the mod_deflate option. It is turned on in my Joomla configuration (gzip)a nd JScompress uses it.

The file (<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="/plugins/system/CssJsCompress/css.php?css=....css.gz) however remains empty so some of my pages don't have the right layout at the moment.

I thought this had to do with a write permissions issues, but it seems the problem originates from something else. Joomla indicaties it can write to all the folders and my host verified this.

The settings I'm using, are the same setting as they are on our other host, the host that runs the current live site. I'm trying to setup the website on a fallback server.

I'm not getting any errors. I turned on the following:
error_reporting(E_ALL); and
ini_set('display_errors', '1');
in the index.php file for Joomla (not the template index.php file).

And I turned on error reporting in Joomla, but nothing is showing up.

So I'm kinda lost on where to look...

Joomla 1.5.8. with Legacy turned on

I'm not sure what JSCOMPRESS version I'm using (cant find it anywhere).

Updating isn't an option (not for Joomla anyway), we bought the site from someone else and he made to many changes to even think about updating.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
