<p>I just installed the CssJsCompress plugin on the site:</p>

<p>The installer said that it completed correctly. I then went to the plugin menu to move and activate the plugin as suggested. I had only moved the plugin (renumbered it and hit the save icon at the top of the order column). When I did so everything went bad. Both the front end and back end give me this error:</p>

<p><strong>Fatal error</strong>: Class 'JEventHandler' not found in .....<strong>/libraries/joomla/event/plugin.php</strong> on line <strong>29</strong></p>
<p>I had not even activated the plugin yet. It was still listed as unpublished when I reordered the plugins.</p>
<p>Running Joomla 1.5.15, Chomatophore template, and several components that I now see do not work with this plugin (didn't see these conflicts in the forum until after I had already installed it).</p>
<p>I tried to go in and manually delete the plugin php files and the folder that was put into the plugin directory but the fatal error persists. What must I do to get the site back up and running? Do I need to go into the database and delete something out of there as well?</p>

<p><strong>I have no idea what happened, but I wound up renaming that plugin.php file I mentioned. When I did the whole site went back to normal.<br /></strong></p> |
