Here goes....

Joomla 1.5.14

Sobi 2.9.2.3 - key problem / conflict

yoo theme template (yoo flux)

I have a dreaded IE7 operation aborted error, there are loads of posts on sobi forum about java conflict errors, and hence I thought I'd give this a go becasue of the 'jquery no conflict' option.

I noticed some other user of sobi having the same issue as me and his work around was this plugin, so here I am.

My problem in specific is a conflict / issue with the gallery plugin that causes a operation aborted error.

If I disable that plugin then I do not get this error. Likewise if I use the pop-up option in that plugin, i.e. not using lightbox / slimbox etc it does work, however it renders the gallery in an unacceptable 20-40 seconds for a page load. I think most users would have left the site by the time the page loads with this option.

After installing this plugin I looked at the configuration and am finding it hard to understand which jquery options to add, I have attached a file with all the .js files that are in my site - across all components - please see attached.

I'm not sure which is the jquery file name to use in my instance. I've tried a few from the attached list, but I'm not sure which one is the correct one, nor am I sure which of the js files to load in the list as there are so many.

In short I think I need some guidance here, as I can't get this to work. I'm hoping this can resolve my issues.

Note I’ve also installed the rereplacer component and changed domready to load across the site. Also on the page in question there are no other modules loaded on the page to help eliminate problems.

Be grateful for any advise on this, and will award anyone with a resolution a handy 'beer fund' donation.

You can view the problem at this link:

http://www.findasigncompany.co.uk/index.php?option=com_sobi2&sobi2Task=sobi2Details&catid=5&sobi2Id=1&Itemid=

It's fine in FF, and I cannot see any errors, but it does not load in IE.

Look forward to hearing from you.

PS. your forum breaks - it goes behind the right column and I can't see what I'm typing. Same in IE and FF.

:-)

PPS. I could not attach a file. it crashed me back to the forum board index. Tried twice.

I can send this seperately when required.

I can't get tags to show in Sobi2 at all.

I have them working in other content, including jReviews, but nothing in Sobi.

Have you found any solutions or can you give me any advice?

Thanks
